Between 24 and 30 September 2017, Karaganda State Technical University met the NCC delegation (National Cadet Corps) of the Republic of India led by the military attaché of India to Kazakhstan Colonel Milan Nalawade. The organizer of the meeting was Military Department of KSTU, which for a long time maintained close ties with National cadet body of the Republic of India.
From 15 to 29 January 2017, in the framework of exchange of experience between the military educational institutions of Southeast Asia and CIS, our students visited the Camp of the National Cadet Corps in New Delhi. The program of the visit to India was very rich and left a vivid impression on our students, who were able to attend and parade with the participation of all types of military equipment, and National Military Academy in Dehradun. In addition to familiarization with the structure of military training in India, our countrymen had the opportunity to enjoy the masterpieces of medieval architecture such as the Taj Mahal, the Observatory Jantar Mantar, the tower Sarga-Suli, amber Palace and a medieval military Fort Jaigarh.
In turn, officers of National defence College of the Republic of India noted that the program prepared by KSTU for them, was no less exciting and eventful. First and foremost, delegates had the opportunity to meet with the rector of KSTU Marat Kenesovich Ibatov. In his welcoming speech to the representatives of the Indian side, rector noted the need for continued cooperation between our countries.
During the program of the visit the guests from India were acquainted with the training facilities of the University, visited the Museum and the faculties of the University. In the coming days, the visit of the delegation of NCC tour in the Museum of the first President, historical Museum of the city of Temirtau and Museum of the city of Karaganda. There will be organized a trip to Spassk memorial complex and Memorial complex of victims of political repression in Dolinka.
