The Department of «Technological equipment, engineering and standardization»
The Department of Technological Machines and Equipment, Mechanical Engineering and Standardization provides training for highly qualified specialists in the design, operation and maintenance of technological machines and equipment. The educational process focuses on practical engineering skills, digital technologies, and modern manufacturing processes.
The main goal of the department:
– improving the quality and quantity of the educational process;
– improving the efficiency of educational and methodical process;
– development of a complex of fundamental and applied research, involvement in scientific activities of teachers and students;
– round development of student personality on the basis of educational work.
Students study the structure and operating principles of technological machines, methods of equipment design and diagnostics, as well as the requirements of national and international standards.
The department is equipped with modern experimental and laboratory facilities, and is constantly working to improve it.
Department graduates of “Technological Machines and Equipment, Mechanical Engineering and Standardization” speciality will acquire knowledge in the design and operation of mining equipment, learn how to perform calculations for the design of details, refer to the technical documentation and standards of development efforts.
