The aim of the department is the formation and development of professionally oriented foreign-language competence in the integral social and professional scope of students and undergraduates for the subsequent effective professional work in the multilingual and multicultural sphere.
Objectives of the department are:
– Training of specialists with knowledge of foreign languages to implement a competency building approach and the ability to work in a foreign professional sphere and fully proficient in communicative competencies in conditions of multilingualism.
– Ensuring the growth of the activity of the scientific work of the teaching staff, the expansion of international relations, the development of the mobility of students and teachers.
– Attraction of students and undergraduates to the research activities of the department.
The activity of the department is organized in accordance with the stated mission, goals and objectives of the university development strategy and is aimed at their implementation.
