Website of Karaganda State Technical University took III place in Webometrics International ranking
Webometrics International ranking has been hold by research group of Spanish National research Council – Cybermetrics Lab since 2004.
The main aim of Ranking is support lab’s initiatives on information opening and access provision to electronic scientific publications and academic materials. Webometrics Ranking focuses not only on research results, but also on quality of published materials.
Data to determine Web Ranking are gathered twice a year in January and July. Results are published a month later.
It covers more than 20 000 higher education institutions worldwide and presents ranking results on 12 000 ranged higher education institutions.
Website of KSTU took III place among Kazakhstan’s universities on the latest results of Ranking Web of Universities (January 2013). In comparison with results of July Web ranking, KSTU rose for 11 positions. It is an excellent indicator of activity of the whole KSTU staff!
