The student club “Sanaly urpak” with the assistance of the Department “Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and Socio-humanitarian disciplines”, the Compliance Service and the Department of Youth Policy of the University from January 16 to February 20, 2024, held a video contest “Students against corruption!” among students of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
The purpose of the competition is developing an active lifestyle in young people, mastering of practical anti-corruption skills, and development of social videos for the purpose of preventing and combating corruption.
27 works were submitted to the competition. 7 works of them were selected according to competitive requirements and in the final of the competition, the teams presented their works to the jury. The jury consists of: chairman – speaker of the Information and Anti-Corruption Pool of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption (Anti-Corruption Service) in the Karaganda region Tokatov R.A., jury members – acting head of the Compliance Service of the University Polyakova N.O. and senior lecturer of the Department “APK and SHDD” Seidinova M.A.
Among the works, the 3 best works worthy of the award were identified:
- Diploma of the I degree – The team “College of Innovative Technologies of KTU”, head – teacher Umirbekova G.Sh.
- Diploma of the II degree – The team “Azamat” (group DAP-21-1), head – senior lecturer Toleuova M.O.
- Diploma of the III degree – The team “Parasat” (group G&C-21-1), head – senior lecturer Zhumatova G.M.
The rest of the finalist teams were awarded letters of thanks.
