On March 30, «Tugan zher» intramural student science practice conference under the program “Rukhani zhangyru” was held at Karaganda State Technical University.
The main purpose of the conference was to promote local lore research, create conditions for greater involvement of young people in the study of the history of the native land, education of the younger generation of civic qualities, a sense of patriotism.
The conference was opened by associate professors of the Department of history of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Historical Sciences Mashakar Zhunusovna Suleimenova and Candidate of Historical Sciences Saule Suyundukovna Kassimova. They emphasized the importance of program article of the President of Kazakhstan “Rukhani zhangyru” “Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity” and told that the project “Tugan Zher” is one of the main provisions of this document. The main direction of the project “Tugan Zher is the development of “small homeland”, the involvement of citizens to the development of the native land. It also considers the solution of various social problems related to the improvement of living conditions in the regions.
The conference was attended by teachers of the Department of history of Kazakhstan and University students. Students of Mining, Transport and Road, Engineering faculties and the faculty of Engineering Economics and Management of KSTU prepared reports on the implementation of the ideas of this program. Future scientists in a free form represented research papers, presentation of their native land: their native town or village, its attractions, the memorials of its history, their famous countrymen. Discussed topical issues of modern history, paid attention to the issues of culture, development and ecology of the native land. shared opinions about the importance of the common man in the history of his native land.
The final stage of the conference was the meeting of the members of the Commission, which summed up the results, formed the resolution of the conference. The authors of the best performances were awarded diplomas of intramural student science practice conference “Tugan Zher”.
