The procedure for issuing the diploma Supplement (Diploma Supplement)

To ensure international transparency and objective academic and professional recognition of qualifications (diplomas, degrees, certificates etc), as well as for the development of academic mobility and comparability of educational programmes of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO have developed a single standard document issued in addition to the document on education. This document is called Diploma Supplement (DS) is the diploma Supplement European model.

The issuance of the diploma Supplement European model is one of the main parameters of the Bologna process. Many universities of the countries participating in the Bologna process give this document to graduate from their universities. The application is recognized by all foreign universities for continuing education and foreign companies in employment. The application form has several levels of protection to ensure protection from falsification and plagiarism.

The application consists of 8 mandatory items and issued in English and Kazakh/Russian languages.

Sample

To obtain the Application, you must submit the following documents to the Department for the development of the Bologna process no later than 3 weeks before your desired date of receipt of the application:

1) Copy of identity card

2) Copy of diploma

3) a copy of the diploma Supplement

4) the claim form to the Rector

5) the Completed application form

The application is issued once graduates of accredited specialties at any time, logged registration application to the European standard diploma. The application of the European standard Diploma Supplement is issued free of charge.

Diploma Supplement 

 This Diploma Supplement model was developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES. The purpose of the supplement is to provide sufficient independent data to improve the international ‘transparency’ and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications (diplomas, degrees, certificates etc.). It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the  studies  that  were  pursued  and  successfully  completed  by  the  individual  named  on  the  original  qualification  to  which  this  supplement  is appended.  It  should  be  free  from  any  value  judgments,  equivalence  statements  or  suggestions  about  recognition.  Information  in  all  eight sections should be provided. Where information is not provided, an explanation should give the reason why.
