The student of the faculty of power engineering and telecommunications of KSTU Aizada Muratova and the student of the faculty of information technologies of KSTU Shaiken Shynar became winners of the Republican competition for student scholarship of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of nation.
Scholarships were established in 2011 to promote excellent education and identifying talented young people. Among scholarship holders — students, nominated by leading universities all over the country who have achieved high academic results, taking an active part in the social life of their universities and having diplomas and certificates.
To participate in the competition this year received over 300 applications, while each year the Foundation awards 80 scholarships. Every month each student will get 20 000 tenge.
Grants are awarded on a competitive basis, to 15 major destinations. Students of KSTU named winners in the field of “technical and engineering sciences”.
On October 29 in Almaty hosted a ceremony of awarding the winners.
