The project «Winter University of Engineering Sciences – 2025» was held at the Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, which brought together more than 200 students and young professionals from all over the world. Students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, South Africa, China, Iran and India were joined by students from Serbia, Cuba and Indonesia. Students from 44 universities took part in «Winter University».
Special attention was given to the development of key modern directions, such as artificial intelligence, digitalization and innovative technologies. The program included lectures, master classes, round tables and practical sessions on the most current and promising directions in the field of technology. Participants were introduced to the latest developments in areas such as:
- Artificial intelligence, including developments in the field of machine learning and neural networks.
- Digital technologies, including Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain and cybersecurity.
- Engineering sciences, modern trends in robotics, automation and other engineering disciplines.
Seven of our students participated in the Winter University: Darya Andryukova, Zamira Bakyt, Elena Bulgakova, Anuar Kantarbai, Ekaterina Kovaleva, Serik Rauliev, and Aida Kaskanova. The participants received a certificate at the end of the project.
By participating in the event, guests not only expanded their knowledge at lectures and seminars, but also got acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of Saint Petersburg. Students visited the Yusupow Palace, Hermitage, Faberge museum, suburbs of St. Petersburg – Pushkin and Kronstadt.
