«STU Sultany men Suluy

On May 5, the Karaganda regional academic Kazakh drama theater named after Saken Seifullin provided its stage for the finalists of the competition «STU Sultany men Suluy – 2025». It was organized by the youth association «Zhas Orda» of the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.

The most talented and creative, artistic and graceful participants reached the final of the competition. Their performances promised an unforgettable spectacle.

The finalists have a path full of trials behind them. First there was a strict casting, then a month of intensive preparation for the final with daily rehearsals, exciting trainings and bright photo sessions. And finally, the long-awaited final of the wonderful competition. Seven beautiful couples will have to compete for the championship in a difficult and interesting competition.

The hosts introduce the stages of the competition. They include an intellectual competition, preparation by the participants of a complete fashion show image in the ethno-modern style and presentation of themselves and their outfits with a description of the finalists’ personalities; performance of creative numbers – dances, songs, reading of poems and excerpts from prose works, theatrical miniatures – revealing the talents of the contestants. At the same time, they can involve relatives and friends to help themselves, performing not in the main, but secondary roles.

And to evaluate the finalists’ performances, a constellation of talents in the creative sphere was invited: the host, choreographer, showman Temirlan Serikov, founder and trainer of the speech image school «Speaker» Azhar Sadbayev, founder of the beauty salon «Aidana» Aidana Polatova, musician, sound engineer, host, entrepreneur Abduov Baigozy, MISS Karaganda 2022 Madina Makisheva.

Timur Erbolatovich Kanapiyanov, Board Member – Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Digitalization, who gave a welcoming speech to the competition participants, noted the importance of such events in the lives of students and wished that the years of student life would be remembered as some of the best in everyone’s life. And he sincerely wished good luck to the finalists.

Among the honored guests of the competition are the university management; director of the Karaganda resource center Yakub Dzhamalov; representatives of sponsoring enterprises, without whom the event would hardly have been so bright and colorful: Premium Lenta, BEK BARBERIA, Luxe Dresses KRG, AsylFood, Annails_09krg, Constellation, Zhanel.hair, Lotus Thai Spa, Krasota.krg, Aidana Beauty.

Between the stages of the competition, the audience that filled the hall was delighted by the performances of the exemplary choreographic ensemble «Magic Land» under the direction of Irina Vazem; duets Adai and Sardar; College of Innovative Technologies with the vocal and instrumental composition «Alash Amanaty; duets of Adil Nuraly and Nurlanda Kuralbekov and others.

Meanwhile, the jury is closely watching the contestants. Its members are not to be envied. It is very difficult to give any of the couples a clear preference. Take an intellectual contest or a fashion show – all couples are good in their own way, in the eyes of inexperienced viewers. But the jury is the jury. It has its own professional criteria. In accordance with them, it names the best.
