Student, studying on programme of SCO University must be able from any term to continue education at foreign University, which implements this programme. Maximum period of staying and number of foreign universities-partners is not limited. The student is obliged to undergo studying in a foreign partner institutions for a period not less than 1 term.
Admission of students is carried out on the basis of mutually agreed quotas for admission of students to universities on the lines of SCO University. Quotas as a whole must meet equity contributions of SCO member States in the budget of the University. Such quotas are determined by the countries annually and are implemented only for students whose study are financed from SCO University’s budget. The second group of students – are those who are studying on a contract basis and independently covering expenses for their education. Number of students of this group are not ser quotas and is determined by agreement between basic institutes of higher education. Pre-approval is necessary, first of all, for the planning and management of subsequent flows of academic mobility.
At the end of studying, student receives a diploma of University, where he has started studying or studied for the longest time (not less than 60% of the time) and at the initial stage of the creation of SCO University – certificate of SCO University, and later – a single diploma of SCO University.
