The layout of the terrain with the imitator gaps of bomb shells are intended for the education and training in Shooting and management of artillery fire and Tactical training. “ММsIRAS” refers to training and simulation tools, designed for the closed premises and limited areas. “ММsIRAS” in the course of the training is designed for group trainings, group exercises, tactical flyers, as well as for the training of carrying out educational and ostentatious shooting and test firing keep tasks of trainees during the training, as well as the presence of light and sound imitation. The uniqueness of MMsIRAS is that it allows you to teach the students, especially initial period of the study of implementation objective №3 of training course of ground-based artillery units (KPA): – an assessment of deviations gaps in range; – to define and measure deviation of the gaps in the direction of the goal with the help of binoculars.

Methodical basis of use “MMsIRAS”

Head causes tactical situation in advance, chooses the order of battle and terms of shooting and tasks to be performed, to the next lesson points out the theme for students, what they should study, what’s necessary to prepare and have (PUO, maps, tables, graphs, etc.). Trainings on MAKI are carried out to work out problems in general. The execution of a fire mission is composed of the following main elements: – identification of target coordinates, causing them on the map and PUO – the definition of installations for fire, adjustment, the shooting to kill, training in determining the coordinates of the targets and applying them on the map, PUO should be well secured with surveillance devices, devices of the fire control cards, artillery circles and lines, and students should examine methods, rules, orders, rules and techniques of application of points on the map, PUO. Students study the situation and prepare PUO, maps. During the training head provides target designation. Each explored goal should  be shown on the map PUO.

After the end of classes of the head executes critique in which indicates: – what are the learning objectives of the training and how they are met; – the degree of training and disadvantages of each student, announces assessment on the work on the instruments, according to the definition of coordinates and other elements; – determines what kind of questions should be further developed and a term for elimination of deficiencies. Small artillery set of simulation is designed for education and training in shooting and management of artillery fire and Tactical training with laser and sound imitation of the gaps, tactical situation and activities of troops, managed with a distributed locally-computer network. «MAKI-2007″ refers to training and simulation tools, designed for the closed premises and limited areas. «MAKI-2007″ in the course of the training is designed for group trainings, group exercises, tactical flyers, as well as to conduct training for carrying out educational and ostentatious shooting and test firing tasks. «MAKI-2007″ has the following features: 1. Create, save, and display on the projection screen contingent tactical signs, elements of the tactical situation, the options are static and dynamic tactical situation, job cards, decisions, proposals, etc.; 2. To carry out the sound and laser (on the layout area) imitation of provisions and tactics of the enemy and his troops targets (objects of destruction), including moving, explosions of shells and mines (high-explosive fragmentation of ground and air, lighting and propaganda).3. To perform the simulation of the action of firing units and means of artillery reconnaissance when using a quantum rangefinder, paired observations, radar type of SNAP, ARK, units of sound intelligence; reconnaissance and adjustment of helicopters. 5. Fire training is one of the main subjects according to the programme of preparation of reserve officers from among the students of higher educational institutions on VUS 021101. Its aim is to train the personnel of the maintenance of armament in constant combat readiness and maintenance of a proactive and effective fire to defeat an opponent in the modern battlefield in order to carry out the combat tasks. The tasks of fire preparation aim to: – train gunner and commander of the tank self-management of fire in the complex tactical environment; – to train personnel of the implementation of the fire tasks to the units in the conditions of modern daily battle; – to teach commanders of the organization weapons of the enemy and management of fire staff, attached and supporting units (firing equipment) in the course of the battle. For the full realization of firing capabilities of modern weapons and military equipment of the personnel of the trainees should:

know:  appointment, combat and technical characteristics of weapons, sets of arms, principles of organization and their work; – the methods of use in battle; the rules of operation; application of the framework and  rules of shooting;

be able to: prepare arms, ammunition to fire, keep them in constant readiness, quickly eliminate delays arising on fire; to conduct reconnaissance purposes and to determine the range of up to them, to conduct an accurate fire, shock them, as a rule, with the first shot (queue), adjust the firing; use all methods of shooting taking into account meteorological and ballistic conditions at day and night in different conditions of modern warfare. The trainees, in addition, should possess knowledge and skills in the organization of weapons of the enemy and the management of fire staff, attached to and supporting the firepower in the battle. In the practice of education for the recent years more and more widely used various training facilities. Training directly on military equipment with the standard armament is limited to high depreciation value of this equipment, weapons and ammunition. In addition, the military equipment and weapons is not always possible to control the actions of trainees in arms, quite clearly and is available to conduct the study of the device of separate mechanisms, to show and teach proper action in case of fire, emerging delays and faults and Новый рисунок (5)maintenance of armament. All of this contributes to the increase of the intensification of the training process and development of the personnel in shorter periods of professional skills in the effective application of the weapons to defeat a variety of purposes in the modern battle.

Main advantages and distinctive features of simulator of the defeat of moving targets (SDMV)
SDMV allows, especially at the stage of initial training, to reduce the use of expensive military equipment, armament, ammunition and moto-resources in the training of the personnel of the shooting of the staff of weapons, i.e. make academic process more cost-effective. However, it provides the opportunity to more clearly and is available to conduct classes with the personnel, to exercise control over actions of trainees in the course of the occupation, the timely identification of the admitted errors and their causes, at the same time educate more students than on military equipment. SDMV installed in Boxing OP (Picture 1) on the territory of Military Department, which creates conditions for the number of sessions on fire training without a visit to the educational centers, which, as a rule, are located at a considerable distance. The prototype of this device was the SDMV-1, works on improvement of which allowed conducting training of keeping the fire from the tank’s weapons at moving targets.

Methodological basis of use

This device is used during practical classes on theme № 9 «Firing training», which are carried out in the box of fire preparation. In the process of training students are trained in the role of a tank commander and gunner guns. Head of the class in task brings conditions of exercise, and time estimates. After which students take regular places in the tank and begin to perform exercises. At the same time, both have opportunity to observe results of practical implementation of a fire mission on fire led mounted on the target with the right actions gunner guns. After the exercise, the head of the parses, estimates the actions of the trainees, points out the flaws, mistakes and their causes. After this is to replace the trainees and the training is repeated in the same sequence.

Ways of improvement of this device
In carrying out further work on improvement and modernization of this device it is possible installation on the basis of several moving targets, for the training of students the ability to choose and to smite the most important aims of the enemy.

Purpose handling device provides the possibility to conduct classes more visible and available with the personnel of the technical training related to dismantling-installation works, replacement of power units, units and aggregates for objects of armored vehicles (Pict. 1).
Sectional design of the rigging of the device allows performing a quick disassembly and reassembly after being transported by car to the place of repair.
Absence of the electric drive system allows carrying out studies or works in any place, without any source of electrical power and violations of safety measures when handling appliances.

Technical description, device and principle of the work of the rigging devices

Purpose handling unit is intended for the production of dismantling-installation works of power-units, units and units weighing up to 1 ton of the objects of armored vehicles. Purpose handling unit consists of: 1. Longitudinal beams; 2. Roller longitudinal beams; 3. Rail; 4. Wheels; 5. Racks of longitudinal beams; 6. Manual hoists; 7. Pull adjustment; 8. Brake shoes.

Methodological basis of use

Practical training with the use of device rigging is carried out only after checking the technical condition of device rigging. Checking the technical condition of the rigging of the device carried out by the Commission, appointed by the head of the military Department, according to the results of the inspection shall draw up a report about the readiness of device rigging to use.

Classes with the use of device rigging spend trained and assigned teachers who have studied and knowledgeable of the military technology of repair and have practical military experience breaking-down-assembly and dismantling-assembling works on the organization and conduct of current repairs of objects of armored vehicles. Practical classes for installation (dismantling) power units are held with a group of students (4-5 people) with the use of technological maps. The rest of the members of the platoon watching the actions of trainees, including with the help of portable video settings «Cyclops». Students at practical classes are allowed only after studying the instructions for use of такелажным device, armed with the measures of security when carrying out of practical works on dismantling-mounting units and units, secured a good tool and working clothes.

5. Ways of improvement rigging devices

In order to use rigging devices such constructions in troop repair in field conditions it is reasonable to replace metal wheels pneumatic, with the purpose of use of the device without the laying of rails, and installation of additional lighting powered from an onboard network of the object being repaired.

ESET allows especially at the stage of initial training, to reduce the time required for examination of the General device and the operating principle of the power plant of the tank and service systems.
Together with the ЭРДТ established in the class of electro special equipment BTVT (Pict. 1), provides the opportunity to more clearly and available training the personnel for the technical training related to the study of the structure and functioning of the power unit of the tank.

Technical description of composition and operating principle ESET
ESET is intended for visual examination of the General device and principle of the work of the engine of the tank and its service systems. ЭРДТ consists of: 1 split of the engine of the tank; 2. stand; 3. the lamp in the enclosure; 4. electric drive; 5. remote radio control; 6. the control unit;
7. electrical connection of wires.

Methodological basis of use

Electrified split the tank engine (ESTE) is applied in the course of training for the technical preparation of the theme # 2 session 1 «Power installation and servicing the systems of the tank». Before the beginning of classes with the use of ESTE need to check the reliability of the ground, a faulty electrical wiring and remote radio control, which should be only with the teacher. Before displaying the work ESTE teacher pays special attention to safety measures when the students directly from ESTE, namely, the distance of the location of trainees from ESTE should be not less than 1.5 m to exclude the possibility of falling into rotating and moving parts ESTE parts of the body, articles of apparel and other foreign objects. In the course of training on the subject teacher brings to the students that the power plant of the tank is a whole complex of components and units, including the engine and service the system. Then, using a ESTE (Fig. 2) consistently shows the external view (view from the side and front), bring to students from any of the main parts is the tank engine (crank mechanism, the mechanism of transmission, timing). The Professor then more fully reveals the structure of the crank mechanism with the display Carter, two-cylinder blocks, crank shaft, pin shaft and piston group.

There is a possibility to stop the air handling unit in the desired position and a more detailed consideration of the process of operation of the units and mechanisms of the engine. After consideration of the main unit of the engine, the work of its units and mechanisms, the teacher goes to the consideration of the principle of the work of the four-stroke engine, namely phase intake, compression, stroke and issue when using the radio remote control 1 (Fig. 6) the teacher has the opportunity to show the work of the engine, both in General and with stops at a separate time. 

5. The ways of improvement of ESTE
In order to facilitate further, more in-depth study of the device and operation of the fuel injection pump, fuel filter and air manifold, it is supposed to continue the work on improvement of ESTE, namely the execution of the necessary technological sections of the data nodes.
