The university management expressed readiness to expand cooperation with European partners and emphasized the importance of such meetings for strengthening international ties and integration into the global educational and scientific space.
The main purpose of the visit of the representatives of the EU embassies was to honor the memory of the innocent victims together with the public of the region. Thus, in Karaganda there are several monuments to the victims of political repression and famine. One of the most significant is Spassky Memorial Complex. May 31 has been declared the Day of remembrance of victims of political repression in Kazakhstan. In this regard, memorial events have been held everywhere – memory lessons in educational institutions, rallies with the laying of flowers and wreaths at monuments to the repressed.
In turn, the guests gave examples of successful partnership and expressed interest in opening new horizons for cooperation. There is a huge potential for cooperation in almost all areas, both with Kazakhstan as a whole and with the Karaganda region.
Our university, as one of the leading technical universities in the country, makes a worthy contribution to the common cause. It is no coincidence that the innovative industrial hub «Kartech» is being formed on its basis, where efforts to implement modern technologies and develop applied science will be concentrated.
