A delegation from Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University paid a special working visit to “KazAvtoZhol” National Company, a leading enterprise in the development of road infrastructure across Kazakhstan. The delegation was headed by the Chair of the Board – Rector of the university, Saule Sagintayeva.
Among the delegates were Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Chief of Staff Aristotel Issagulov; Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Ali Mekhtiyev; Rector’s Adviser on HR Issues Aliya Orsaeva; Head of the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics Systems Nursultan Zharkenov; and Head of the Department of Construction Materials and Technologies Edil Imanov, along with other leading faculty members.
The group was welcomed by Deputy Director of “KazAvtoZhol” JSC, Rafael Bektemirov, who presented the company’s activities and strategic directions.
The main purpose of the meeting between the university and the national company was to strengthen the bridge between industry and education. Key topics included organizing industrial internships for students, implementing joint scientific projects, and training future professionals in the road construction sector.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on enhancing the training system for road and transport industry specialists, conducting new scientific research, and introducing innovative solutions. Specific agreements were also discussed regarding the placement of Saginov Technical University students for industrial internships within the structural divisions of “KazAvtoZhol.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness and openness to deepen cooperation and implement mutually beneficial projects. This marks the beginning of concrete steps toward elevating Kazakhstan’s road and transport sector to a new level.
