Saginov Technical University expands its collaboration with the IQanat public foundation and the IQClub business community

On September 18, Saginov Technical University hosted a meeting of the University leadership led by Chairman of the Board and Rector Saule Sagintayeva, with the participation of Rector advisors Aidos Aitbayev and Alexander Doroshenko. Azamat Ashamayev, Director of the IQanat Public Foundation, and Erbolat Zhaksylykov, Trustee of the Foundation, Learning Officer of the IQClub business club, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the TOR’RE Group of Companies, also attended the meeting.

In Kazakhstan, the Foundation provides access to quality education for schoolchildren from remote villages by organizing the annual IQanat Olympiad for over 50,000 children, using it to select students for its school in Borovoye, and  teaching the other rural schoolchildren through online and offline programs. All of this is aimed at developing leadership skills, personal growth, and creating an environment in which everyone has the opportunity to fully realize their potential.

At the meeting, the guests presented information of the activities of the IQ Business Club, using informative videos to accompany their presentations. They emphasized that everything the IQanat Foundation does: from building schools to supporting and educating children—is funded by its 233 trustees. Among them are many Kazakhstani entrepreneurs who are members of the YPO Kazakhstan (Young Presidents Organization). They actively promote the growth of the business community, hosting business forums, educational meetings, and charity events.

Close cooperation with the Foundation enables the University to expand and to develop international collaboration and actively participate in the education and development of talented young people, whom the founders of the Foundation dreamed of seeing as prototypes for the future of Kazakhstan intelligentsia.

Chair of the Board, Rector Saule Sagintayeva noted that our University is ready to assist the Foundation in the development of gifted children. However, more specific commitments and intentions on our part and those of the guests were reflected in the memorandum of cooperation signed following the meeting.

Furthermore, another memorandum of cooperation was signed with the IQ Club. Good luck and fruitful work for the common good!
