On April 24, 2025, the XXXIV session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan dedicated to the 30th anniversary of this unique public institution, was held in Astana.
The event was attended by government officials, representatives of ethnocultural associations, the scientific community, youth and the civil sector from all the regions of the country.
From Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, Dinara Gosmanovna Shormanbayeva, Head of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, and Rustam Ravilyevich Buzyakov, Head of the Commercialization Office, Head of the Youth Council of the Scientific and Expert Group of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Karaganda Region, took part in the session.
The session became an important platform for discussing current issues of strengthening interethnic harmony, sustainable development of society and expanding youth participation in public and civil initiatives. In his speech, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the key areas of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan’s activities: maintaining social unity, developing language and culture, strengthening ties with youth and forming a common civic identity.
The participation of representatives of Abylkas Saginov KTU in the session of the ANC became an important contribution of the University to the development of public dialogue and promotion of ideas of mutual respect, cultural diversity and civic responsibility. Such events allow the University community to be not only a center of education and science but also an active participant in processes aimed at strengthening stability and harmony in the country.
