On May 13, the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” started in Kazan. The organizers of the forum identified a dialogue on cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Islamic world as the main goal.
The event that took place from May 13 to 18, was attended by representatives from more than 100 countries: politicians, businessmen, delegates of financial, youth and women’s organizations.
The forum hosted round tables with Kazakhstan and Malaysia, with Iran. The other equally interesting events were held, too.
It is pleasant to note that among the guests of the forum there was Member of the Board, Vice-rector for Science and Innovation of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University Ali Mekhtiyev, the only representative of Kazakhstan universities.
The forum and accompanying events such as speeches by participants, acquaintance with the monuments of the architectural heritage of Tatarstan made an unforgettable impression on him.
During his stay in Tatarstan, Ali Dzhavashirovich visited Kazan Power Engineering University. He signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Kazan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
