On 9-15 April, Taraz held championship in the national kinds of sport among youth of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Student of 1 course of Mining Faculty of KSTU Ernur Kamelkhan won 1st place in the sports tournament on kokpar.
The championship was held in the village Bektobeof Zhambyl district of Zhambyl region. Organizer of the XIII competition on kokpar, XIII audaryspak, XI on tengeilu, III competition in shooting is the Committee for Sports and Physical culture of the Ministry of culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 12 teams of boys born in 1996-1999 from all the regions of the republic fought for the right to be the best.
I go in for kokparsince I was 14. My father brought me to this sport. He also became my first coach. National sports games require skill, endurance, vigor, strength and courage. Despite the fact that I grew up in the city, I always participated in district, regional and republican competitions with interest. Now I have the title of master of sports. I have big plans ahead. Now I’m preparing for a competition dedicated to the memory of the Director of the sports club in Taraz N.Momynov, which will be held in May 9-10 in Zhambyl region – Ernur Kamelkhan said.
