Nauryz – a holiday of prosperity and unity
Az-Nauryz, a sunny spring holiday, was celebrated on a large scale in our College of Innovative Technologies of the Karaganda Technical University named after Abilkas Saginov. This festive event, aimed at glorifying national values, brought together teachers, students and parents in one environment and made a special impression.
The holiday began with a grand opening and continued with congratulatory speeches by the member of the Board of our university – Vice-Rector for Social Affairs A.K. Kalykov and the director of the college N.A. Smagulova. Good intentions and good wishes were expressed, and faith and hope for the holiday were strengthened.
The yurts built in front of the main building, resembling a khan’s tent, and white tables spread with national dishes, which once again demonstrated the hospitality and generosity of the Kazakh people. One of the main symbols of Nauryz was the manifestation of abundance and generosity.
During the event, a long-standing tradition of the Kazakh people – a blessing ceremony was held. The blessings of elders and teachers gave spiritual strength to the audience and served as an example to the youth. The traditions and way of life of our people were beautifully depicted through stage performances. Students demonstrated their acting skills and won the warm affection of the audience. Beautiful songs were sung, national dances were performed, and the festive evening was heated. The art of talented young people gave a special charm to the evening and created a high mood.
Such meaningful events increase the interest of the younger generation in national culture and have a positive impact on their spiritual education.
