Saginov Technical University hosted a meeting with a scholar from Poland — Dr. Maria Ganzha, PhD, Professor at the Warsaw University of Technology and the Institute of Systems Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She visited Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University under the national program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MSHE RK) aimed at attracting foreign experts and scholars from leading universities.
Maria Ganzha is a leading scientist and expert in Poland with an h-index of 18 according to Scopus. Her research interests include artificial intelligence, operating systems, databases, mathematical informatics, complex analysis, and integral geometry.
During her visit, Professor Ganzha will deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for students, master’s and PhD students, and faculty on the topic of Artificial Intelligence for Scientific Research. She will also provide dissertation consultations, organize a training seminar and workshop for staff and students on research methodologies, and lead a workshop on publishing in high-impact journals.
In addition, Professor Ganzha will provide consultations to researchers and administrative staff of the university on participation in international grant programs such as Erasmus+, Horizon, the World Bank, and others.
During the meeting, agreements were reached on joint scientific activities and future cooperation, including the preparation and publication of joint scientific articles, participation in international projects, support for researchers in applying for Erasmus+ programs, joint research, as well as collaborative efforts to launch and enhance academic programs at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
