Almaty Mini Maker Faire announces admission of applications for participation in KZ Pitch Challenge (contest of project presentations). Apply now to join the Maker Faire. Tell us about your social or public project and get the right to receive a micro-grant to launch this project. 12 candidates will be invited to perform with their projects at the festival in Almaty, and six finalists will receive $ 2,000 (including VAT, in KZT), as well as free membership for one month in SmArt.Point creative coworking space.
Innovative / creative but realistic and achievable projects are required for financing!
Requirements for candidates / Criterion:
- The project must be aimed at social or community development. It should promote or address some social, cultural, educational, medical or environmental issues in Kazakhstan;
* Citizen of Kazakhstan currently residing in Kazakhstan;
- Over 18 years of age;
* Entrepreneur, individual or startup (company with less than 10 employees and existing only 1-2 years); medium or large companies cannot participate;
* Has the opportunity to go to Almaty to participate in Almaty Mini Maker Faire. Transportation and accommodation will be provided for successful applicants living outside Almaty
To apply:
* Fill in the online application form before March 10, 2018. In the application, attach a short video no more than one minute. Attach a document proving your identity.
Only twelve applicants will be selected to submit their projects to KZ Pitch Challenge.
