It can be said that there is no holiday in our country as lively and joyful as Nauryz. Today, Nauryz is celebrated not only by Kazakhstanis but also by millions of people around the world — it is rightfully considered one of the most beloved holidays. Even New Year’s celebrations cannot compare to its festivity and spirit.
Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov has also begun preparing for Nauryz. In their free time, students and teachers worked on scripts, selected traditional costumes, and prepared musical performances. Since the beginning of March, the spirit of Nauryz has filled the air, and the celebration is going wonderfully!
Everything started with all faculties organizing various events dedicated to Nauryz. Later, national sports competitions were held in the university’s sports complex. After summarizing the results, the activists of the youth organization “Zhas Orda” invited everyone to the Nauryz national traditions contest.
On this day, the hall of the “Polytechnic” cafe, where the festive event took place, was filled not only with a joyful atmosphere but also with the bright traditional costumes of students and teachers, turning it into a colorful celebration with music and entertainment. This clearly showed once again that people in our country treat representatives of all nationalities with respect and warmth.
