As part of the implementation of the program “Rukhani Zhangyru”, the Department of Higher Mathematics, Karaganda Technical University invites you to take part in the regional essay competition “My teacher”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Akhmet Baitursynuly, statesman, scientist, reformer of national writing. Works in Kazakh and Russian languages, made by 1st year students of universities in Karaganda, are accepted for participation in the competition. General provisions
- The competition is held from February 7, 2022 to February 28, 2022.
- Participants: 1st year students of universities in Karaganda.
- The competition is held in absentia.
- The participant of the competition must write an essay on the topic “My teacher” with a volume of at least 250 words:
- In the essay, the contestant must give his own understanding (interpretation, definition) of the topic and give arguments supporting his position.
- One participant submits only one essay for the competition.
- The essay must be written by the contestant himself.
The procedure for organizing and holding the competition
- Applications and the text of the essay are sent by e-mail to the address: kafedra.vmim@mail.ru.
In the subject of the letter, indicate “Name, university”, for example: “Ospanov I.I., Karaganda Technical University”.
- The deadline for accepting applications is February 25, 2022 inclusive.
- Contest participants will be notified of the acceptance of the application by e-mail specified in the application for participation.
Form of submission of competitive works.
- Line spacing – 1.5; font 14 Times New Roman, justified alignment, text editor – Microsoft Word.
- In the upper right corner of the first page: last name, first name, patronymic of the author, name of the university; specialty, course, group.
- The file with the text of the competitive work and the application are called by the author’s last name with the file extension .docx (Ivanov-esse.docx), (Ivanov-application.docx). The application form is attached (see Appendix).
- Materials sent to the contest will not be returned or commented on.
The jury evaluates the works according to the following criteria:
- The uniqueness of the text is at least 75% (an important criterion, it is checked first for compliance!). The originality of the submitted works is checked by the organizing committee on the site antiplagiat.ru,
- design of the text of the essay in accordance with the requirements of the competition,
- absence of lexical and grammatical errors.
