“Information Literacy Week” at the College of Innovative Technologies of the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University


From October 13 to October 17, 2025, in order to develop information literacy and foster creative interests, the College of Innovative Technologies of the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University held “Information Literacy Week.”

 

The following events were held as part of Information Literacy Week at the College of Innovative Technologies of the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University:

  • The opening took place in an unusual format—in the form of an interactive game called “Digital Challenge,” which brought together students from different specialties. Participants enthusiastically completed tasks, demonstrating their knowledge in the fields of ICT, media literacy, and cybersecurity. The game allowed the students to show their ingenuity, team spirit, and creative approach to solving digital problems.
  • “Hackathon – Programming Marathon”

Information Literacy Week became a significant event in the life of the educational institution, allowing students to strengthen their digital skills, unleash their creative potential, and feel part of a large technological community.
