A graduate of the Department of “TE and LS” of the Transport and Road Faculty of Karaganda Technical University won a gold medal in kettlebell lifting in Budapest.


In the period from October 21 to 24, Budapest, Hungary hosted the World Cup in Kettlebell lifting among professionals. As part of the national team, an employee of the fire extinguishing and emergency rescue service of the Karaganda region – an engineer of the fire department No. 11, senior lieutenant of civil protection Alexander Komarov took part.

At these competitions, Alexander won a gold medal, thereby ensuring that he reached the final of the World Cup in Kettlebell lifting, which will be held in December this year in Riga, the capital of Latvia.

Recall that in April 2021 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Alexander Komarov became the Champion of the Asian Games in kettlebell lifting, and also ascended to the second step of the podium of the Asian Championship.

Alexander Komarov is a Master of Sports of international class in kettlebell lifting, a World Champion among students, a multiple winner of the World Championships among professionals, a European Champion and a multiple Champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
