15.02.2024 – “Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits” Department of the Mining Faculty held a Faculty Week, which was attended by students of the Karaganda Mining and Industrial College, Karaganda Higher Polytechnic College and pupils of schools No.91, No. 63. In total of 27 people took part.
The tour of the department and the Geological museum named after M.A.Yermekov was conducted by the lecturer of the department Sadchikov Alexander Viktorovich.
The participants of the Faculty Week got acquainted with the applied geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration of oil, gas, ore and coal deposits, during hydrogeological and engineering-geological surveys.
The presentation of the educational programs of the department took place, namely, there was provided an information on the advantages, relevance and employment opportunities of the educational programs of the department.
Information on preparatory courses was provided and answers are given to questions about the conditions of admission to Abylkas Saginov KTU.
