Enrollment for the educational program of pedagogical profile

The center of engineering pedagogics announces admission of listeners for the educational program of pedagogical profile for those who have graduated from profile master course.

Further development of the pedagogical profile program gives the right to pedagogical activity in system of professional education and admission to the doctoral program.

Implementation of pedagogical profile program is planned in the period from 06.02.2017 to 02.06.2017.

The educational program of pedagogical profile for those who have graduated from profile master course is implemented in accordance with State compulsory standards of postgraduate education, approved by the Decree of the Government dated 23.08.2012 No. 1080 and amendments and additions in the edition of resolution of the Government RK dated 13.05.2016 No. 292 (Annex 5, pp. 26, 27).

The contents of pedagogical profile program involves the learning of the following subjects and activities: ‘History and philosophy of science’ – 2 credits, pedagogy – 3 credits, ‘Methods of teaching technical subjects’ – 2 credits, ‘Pedagogical practice’ – 6 credits.

The cost of training for pedagogical profile program is set at the total cost of credits of training at the beginning of the study and in 2017 it will be 208 000 KZT.

For admission to pedagogical profile program you need to apply for the training (Annex 1) in the Center of Engineering Pedagogics of KSTU (building 1, office 525, 531).

Applications for training are accepted till 23.01.2017.

The list of documents required for admission to the pedagogical profile program:

  • application for training;
  • copy of diploma and transcript of completion of the relevant graduate programs;
  • copy of identity card;
  • copies of applications for training in each discipline;
  • a copy of the contract for training;
  • copy of the payment receipt.
