During the hours of self-preparation, each month, those responsible for the platoon summarize the results of training, watch films on military and military-patriotic topics. Monthly discussions are held on cultural, moral and socio-political topics.
On the days of professional holidays “day of the tankman”, “day of the military signalman”, “day of rocket troops and artillery”, “day of education of educational structures”, solemn events are held with the encouragement of distinguished teachers and students, and film screenings of relevant topics.
In a festive, festive atmosphere with the invitation of the media, veterans of the Armed Forces, representatives of the regional department of defense affairs, the commander of the regional command “Astana”, a solemn event is held annually to mark the graduation of students who graduated from the military department.
Meetings and discussions are being held on the day of the withdrawal of a limited contingent of troops from Afghanistan with participants in the events: the professor of the military department, retired Lt. In order to promote the heroic past and present of our people, portraits of historical figures of Kazakhstan are placed in the assembly hall of the department.
