We invite You and your students to participate in the essay contest on the topic “Letter to the President”

 

The event dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Participants of the contest:

To participate in the essay contest 1-3 courses students are invited

The terms and stages of the competition:

The essay contest is held from 28 October to 21 November 2014. The results of the competition will be announced on 28 November 2014.

The main objectives of the Competition are:

  • implementation of individual abilities;
  • increase motivation for academic success;
  • the development of leadership qualities;
  • show the ability to set and achieve goals;
  • encouragement of initiative and creative skills.

The procedure of the competition:

Each teacher should prepare 1-2 students.

Contest entries are accepted in English.

Each participant can submit no more than 1 entry.

The selection of the winners (three best works) will be carried out by a competent

Jury, composed from members of the organizing Committee.

Rules for submitting entries for the contest:

Essays will be accepted on paper in A4 format.
In the theme of work to include the essay contest, first and last name of the author.
At the beginning of the work the following information must be contained: title, name of author, group and name of the tutor.
Work must conform the following requirements: compliance with the set subject competition; the scope of work should not exceed 2 printed pages, Times New Roman 14 PT, single line spacing, page margins: 3 from the left, 2 from other sides.

Deadline for essays submission is November 21, 2014

Criteria for judging:

Work will be judged on the following criteria: consistency, originality, creativity, relevance to the topic, a presentation of his position, the fullness of the subject disclosure, consistency of presentation, the validity of the conclusions, information (knowledge).

Winners awarding:

The winners of the contest (the authors of the three best works) will be awarded with diplomas at the celebration event, which will be held on November 28, 2014 at 517 room.
