It has become a good tradition at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University to present awards to outstanding faculty members and students during Academic Councils.
At the latest Academic Council held on May 29, a diploma from the Agency for Financial Monitoring of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a letter of appreciation from the university administration were awarded to Khalil Kalandarov, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Innovative Technologies, for winning the National Olympiad on Financial Security – 2025. Among 40 finalists, Khalil ranked in the top three winners and will represent Kazakhstan at the international competition in the Russian Federation.
A letter of appreciation was also presented to Ruslan Akdauletov, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Innovative Technologies, for his high civic responsibility, exemplary behavior, and assistance to a woman. Ruslan witnessed an attack by a man on citizen G. Murzakarimova. He protected the woman from the attacker and accompanied the attacker to the police station. The university received a letter from Galiya Murzakarimova expressing her gratitude to Ruslan for his honorable deed.
Honorary certificates were also awarded to young scientists of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University who won grants from our university “SAGINOV’S JAS ZERTTEÝSHILERI – 2024.” They successfully completed and defended their scientific projects at the Scientific and Technical Council:
- Gamzat Sundet – Lecturer of the Department of Automation of Production Processes (PEA&TF);
- Alexandra Berg – PhD, Assistant Professor of the Department of Technological Equipment, Mechanical Engineering, and Standardization (MEF);
- Aynure Zhaldybayeva – Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture (RTF);
- Bektas Ospanov – Lecturer of the Department of Energy Systems (PEA&TF).
