Ceremonial event on September 1, 2016, dedicated to the Day of Knowledge

September 1, 2016 from 9.00 to 10.30 hours on the square in front of the main building of the University held a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge.

Present: Rector of KSTU A.G. Gazaliev, First Vice-Rector Isagulov A.Z., Vice-rector for educational and methodical work Egorov V.V., as well as invited guests: Ospanov Қ.Б. – Deputy. Chairman of the KF of the party “Nur Otan”; Omashev KO, Toleubayev EI, Nikonov VA – fellow students of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Drizhd N.A. – twice Laureate of the State Prize, Chairman of the Disciplinary Council of KSTU, Professor; Dedurenko AI – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KaragandaNerud JSC; Akbaev TA – Member of the Supervisory Board of KSTU, President of JSC Shubarkol Komir; Bilyk LN, Bilyk AA – the wife and son of the honored sculptor Bilyk AP; Togaybaev K.B. – Chairman of the Aksakal Council of KSTU; Ponomareva S.G. – Veteran of the Second World War; Murzakhanova S.A. – Patron of the KSTU; Tverdokhlebov N.I. – Deputy Director for Production LLP and KMZ them. Presentation of the sculptural composition of metallurgists, the gift of the family of the deserved sculptor Bilyk AP was held. And laying flowers at the monument to the founder of the University Abylkas S.S.

Students of the 1st year, accompanied by curators of academic groups, heads of departments, deputy deans in educational work and deans of faculties, swore an oath of students. The best students of senior courses with parting words were given a model of the student’s ticket to the best first-year students – holders of the breastplate “Altyn belgi”.

For students with concert numbers, participants of the creative circles of the University made speeches. At the end of the festive concert all freshmen were invited to the curatorial hours “Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism among students”.
