Dear students, teachers and guests of Karaganda State Technical University. Me, Baikonur Samat, have studied at KSTU, on RET-07-2 programme. During the first year of studying at KSTU I in parallel applied for Presidential scholarship Bolashak. I can not say it was easy, but you can achieve everything if you have a goal and strong desire. After successful passing of several tests, namely the English language test TOEFL, psychological test and IQ test, I was called to the interview with the Independent Expert Commission. I was awarded the Presidential scholarship Bolashak after the meeting of Republican Commission.
In autumn of that year I was in one of the biggest and the most famous cities of the world-Toronto. After 7 months of studying in language courses I entered Carleton University in Ottawa, one of the strongest universities in the sphere of air rocket engineering. Now I study on the first course by specialty Engineering in Air rocket science. During studying in Canada I gained experience and unforgettable expressions. I got acquainted with many interesting people of different cultures and nations. I got faithful friends and knew many new. Canada is quiet and multinational country with good infrastructure and stable economy. System of education is one of the most effective in the world. In my university much attention is paid for practical work that is in laboratory with complicated equipment. Implementation of university faculties are distinguished with high standards and individual approach to each student. Studying by Presidential programme Bolashak you feel needful and useful for your country. That is why dear students I wish you always set aims and reach them, don’t give up and be real patriot of your country. Only this way you can get success and be useful for Kazakhstan!
