At the department there are 1 lecture-room equipped with modern training aids: a video projector, a laptop, and the following specialized classrooms, laboratories where students with the major 5V073000 have their practical and laboratory classes for:
1. “Construction laboratory”
2. “Laboratory of binders”
3. “Construction laboratory of IAC”
Classrooms are equipped with visual materials and modern equipment in all profile disciplines.
There are 2 branches of the Department in LLP “Continent-system” at the Institute of Comprehensive Exploitation of Mineral Resources, where students carry out laboratory work on the course: “The methods of building materials”, “Technology of Construction Ceramics.”
Work on purchasing the equipment for light microscopy and sample preparation is done jointly with the Institute of Comprehensive Exploitation of Mineral Resources (CEMR).
The department is equipped with modern experimental and laboratory basis and is constantly working to improve it.
In 2008-2014 for the purpose of modernization of the educational process there has been acquired modern equipment and devices (multi-purpose steaming camera MPSC-1A, unit for determining the harshness of the concrete mix, apparatus for determining permeability of concrete BB-2, compound steel cylinder for determining the strength of porous inorganic fillers).
There is a room number 212 for the master students.
