On June 18, 2026, the International Rating Agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) published the results of the QS World University Rankings 2027. Following the assessment, Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University ranked 1001st, confirming its position among the world’s leading higher education institutions.
Kazakhstan is represented by 18 universities in the QS World University Rankings 2027, with Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University placing 9th among them.
Despite intense global competition, the University demonstrates positive momentum across several key indicators, including academic reputation and sustainability with its overall score rising from 17.5 to 18.0.
These results were achieved through the consistent implementation of the internationalization strategy, the advancement of scientific research, the expansion of international partnerships, the recruitment of foreign scholars, and the University active participation in international educational and research projects.
