Education
In 1993, she graduated from KarPTI with a degree in Information and Measurement Engineering, qualifying as an electrical engineer. In 2014, she received a master’s degree in Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems from the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics. In 2019, she completed postgraduate studies at Tomsk Polytechnic University with a degree in Photonics, Instrumentation, Optical and Biotechnical Systems and Technologies. In 2024, at the Dissertation Council of the Tomsk Polytechnic University Research Institute (Russia), she successfully defended her PhD thesis in the specialty 2.2.8.: “Methods and devices for monitoring and diagnostics of materials, products, substances and the natural environment” with the degree of “Candidate of Technical Sciences”. In 2024, she received a certificate of recognition of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Academic experience
Since 1993, he has been working at Karaganda Technical University as an assistant, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, associate professor (associate professor), and acting head of the department.
Alkina A. D.’s scientific achievements are reflected in 120 scientific papers in domestic and foreign journals, including 67 articles published in international scientific peer-reviewed journals with an impact factor, as well as in the Clarivate Analytics (WoS) and Scopus databases. Hirsch index: Scopus – 11, WoS – 8. Alkina A.D. is a co-author of 8 monographs, 7 textbooks, 1 textbook with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are used in the educational process at Karaganda Technical University.
He has received 35 patents from the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Patent Organization, as well as 33 certificates of state registration of rights to an object of copyright in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He is the holder of the title “Best University Professor 2019” (Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan). He is also the holder of the titles “Professor of the Year 2020” and “Professor of the Year 2021” at Karaganda Technical University. Awarded the “Kұrmetty Metrolog” badge, 2022; the “Ғылымды дамытуға Сіңірген Еңбегі үшін” badge, 2025. According to the 2020 General Ranking of the Professorial Staff of Universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan by the National Agency for Academic Ranking and Assessment of Education, she was among the top 50 teachers in Kazakhstan.
