During the lesson on the topic “Internal energy. Work. Amount of heat”, special attention was paid to the development of students’ research and critical thinking skills, combining theory and practice.
The purpose of the open lesson is to explain the physical meaning of internal energy; determine the role of the amount of heat supplied to the system and the work; use the relationships between the quantities Q, A, ΔU.
Methods and technologies used in the lesson:
Interactive tasks through the learningapps.org platform
Explanation of a new topic through video
Laboratory work (calorimeter, thermometer, various test tubes, work with hot water, cold water)
Tests and reflections were conducted using Google Forms with a QR code
Group and individual work was organized.
Work on summarizing problems and formulas for speed was organized.
Result: Students understood the ways of internal energy change, the physical meaning of heat and work, and were able to use formulas in solving problems. The lesson was organized at a high level, and the students’ activity and interest increased.
The open lesson was held effectively through the effective use of modern digital tools.
