On May 29, 2019, an exhibition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Saken Seifullin, a famous poet and writer who made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh literature, opened in the museum


 

As part of the commemoration day for victims of political repression, on May 30, 2019, teachers from the department of Assembly of people of Kazakhstan and SHD of KarGTU visited the local history museum of Karaganda.

On May 29, 2019, an exhibition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Saken Seifullin, a famous poet and writer who made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh literature, opened in the museum. The exhibition presents photographs, archival documents, personal belongings of the founder of modern Kazakh literature and voluminous exhibits from the Zhanarkinsky Local History Museum. Today’s opening of the exhibition is the result of the great work done in the framework of the presidential program “Rouhani zagyru” and continuing its articles “The Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”.

The purpose of visiting the museum to promote the formation of a patriotic consciousness, an active life position. To cultivate a feeling of compassion, a humane attitude towards people who died from repression.
