Student Servicing Center
Purpose of the Student Servicing Center: to maximize comprehensive interaction with the student community, eliminate bureaucratic barriers and corruption risks in the “university–student” interaction system, and remove duplicate actions in the provision of services. The Center is also responsible for statistical accounting and monitoring of the student body, controlling its movement, maintaining student records, and ensuring the timely provision of information on students.
Main tasks of the Student Servicing Center:
• receiving personal files of enrolled applicants from the University Admissions Committee, maintaining and storing them throughout the entire period of study at the university;
• recording personal data and tracking student movement in the “Univer” information system, Platonus, UPHE, and the Financial Center databases;
• preparing and compiling the annual statistical reports in forms 3RС and 1-RС;
• monthly and quarterly accounting and control of student enrollment and movement for: full-time and shortened full-time programs; shortened full-time programs based on secondary vocational education; full-time programs based on higher education; full-time Master’s programs in scientific and pedagogical tracks; full-time Doctoral (PhD) programs in scientific and pedagogical tracks;
• preparing student documentation to fill vacant places under the state educational grant;
• preparing written requests to obtain documents for students who have transferred to or been reinstated from other higher education institutions;
• sending student documents to other higher education institutions for those transferred or reinstated there;
• correspondence with the MSHE RK, local executive bodies, and other organizations on various issues related to student information;
• Providing public (government) services, including: Issuance of duplicates of diplomas of higher and postgraduate education; Provision of dormitory accommodation for students in higher and postgraduate education institutions; Provision of free meals for certain categories of citizens, as well as for individuals under guardianship (custody) or patronage, who are students or trainees in higher education institutions;
• Providing academic and educational services, including: Transcript of records for former and current students of KTU; Granting and extending academic leave; Returning from academic leave; Transfer and reinstatement (to another university, to KTU, or to the list of active students); Transfer within the university; Withdrawal upon personal request; Updating personal data; Issuance of certificates of study; Reissuing lost key cards; Certificates for receiving allowances (Appendices 2, 4, 29); Temporary registration for students living in university dormitories;
• Assisting students and university staff in obtaining digital signatures (EDS) and certificates from the eGov portal (https://egov.kz);
• Ensuring the quality, accessibility, transparency, and continuous improvement of provided services, timely processing of received requests, and offering information and consulting support to students, faculty, and university staff.

Kenzhebekova Sulushash Serikbayevna graduated from Buketov Karaganda State University with a degree in Applied Mathematics and holds a Master’s degree in Science. Since 2000, she has worked as a Methodologist at the DLF, and since 2024 as a Methodologist at the SSC. Since September 2025, she has been serving as the Acting Head of the SSC. |

Gabaydulina Tatyana Iosifovna graduated from the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz with a degree in Accounting and Auditing. She worked at the university as an Accountant from 2009 to 2017. From 2017 to 2024, she served as the Head of the SSC. Since October 2024, she has been serving as the Deputy Head of the SSC. |

Duganova Gulden Kanatovna graduated from Karaganda State Technical University with a degree in Computer Information Processing and Control Systems and holds a Master of Technical Sciences. Since 2002, she has worked as a Specialist at the Academic and Methodological Department (AMD), and in 2013 became Head of the Student Department. From October 2024, she has served as Head of the SSC. Since September 2025, she has been a Methodologist at the SSC. |

Makarova Elena Viktorovna graduated from Buketov Karaganda State University with a degree in Documentation and Records Management. Since 2013, she has worked as a Statistician. |

Akumova Saule Khasenovna graduated from Karaganda Order of the Red Banner of Labor Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Information and Measurement Technology. Since 2002, she has worked as a Methodologist at the DLF (Distance Learning Faculty). Since 2021, she has worked as a Statistician. |

Kulmaganbetova Almagul Kanatovna graduated from Kazakh-Russian University with a degree in Economics. From 2001 to 2015, she worked at KRU as a client-relationship manager. Since 2015, she has worked as an Inspector. |
