Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the performance of all divisions within the Department: Academic Mobility Sector, Internationalization and Development of International Cooperation Sector, Multilingual Education Development Sector, and International Programs and Projects Sector;
  • Ensures the proper delivery of the state service “Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition for studying abroad, including within the framework of academic mobility” in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Coordinates international joint educational programs implemented by the university’s structural units;
  • Carries out strategic and operational planning, control, and monitoring of all types of activities and processes stipulated by the Regulation on the Department of International Cooperation;
  • Supervises the implementation of international research projects in the university’s priority academic and scientific areas;
  • Oversees the preparation of draft orders related to studying abroad, international internships for staff, faculty members, and students, including within academic mobility programs;
  • Ensures the quality of processes and educational services in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation;
  • Monitors the effectiveness of multilingual education implementation at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University and develops recommendations to improve its quality;
  • Controls the formation and implementation of departmental international activity plans (academic mobility programs, invitation of foreign scholars, participation in international programs, etc.);
  • Participates in the commission on inspection of international activities of departments, development of multilingual education, and internationalization of educational processes;
  • Ensures compliance with occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and fire safety standards within the Department to guarantee safe working conditions and prevent workplace injuries and occupational diseases;
  • Observes proper handling and confidentiality of official documents and information in the course of duty.
