We speak, we understand, we grow. Saginov Technical University teachers completed English language courses


From April 1 to June 27, teachers from Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University took intensive English language courses at the Institute of Continuing Education under the auspices of the Department of Foreign Languages.

The program was implemented using a modern educational and methodological complex, covering levels A0 (Beginner), A1 (Elementary) and A2 (Pre-intermediate). It was conducted by experienced teachers of the department I. Sof’ina, K. Arabadzhi, E. Prozovskaya, S. Mauletova, A. Bogdanova, N. Isina, M. Nugumanova, A. Erzhumanova.

The main goal of the training was to improve the communication skills of teachers, expand their vocabulary and develop professional terminology in English. The participants were 63 teachers who started from scratch.

The classes lasted for several weeks and included both theoretical and practical parts. The participants demonstrated a high level of responsibility and persistence, actively engaging in the learning process. Particular attention was paid to speaking practice, reading and translating specialized texts, as well as developing academic correspondence skills.

Following the courses, all students successfully passed the final assessment, confirmed their level of English language proficiency and expressed their readiness for further professional development. The participants included both heads of departments and teachers of different ages and lengths of service, which emphasizes the importance and relevance of such training for the entire faculty.

We would like to express special gratitude to the head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Associate Professor Damira Dzhantassova for organizing the courses and attentively supporting the educational process. We would also like to sincerely thank the teachers who conducted the classes professionally and with inspiration, creating a comfortable and productive atmosphere for learning.

The university management hopes that the acquired knowledge and skills will contribute to the further improvement of teaching activities and the development of the educational process as a whole. It is planned to continue such advanced training programs to maintain and strengthen the professional level of the teaching staff.

Upon completion of the courses, the students were presented with the corresponding certificates in a ceremonial setting.

The next stream will start in autumn 2025.
