Report on the literary and creative evening dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the USSR.Altynsarina “The Great mentor of Life”


The Department of Russian Language and Culture, under the leadership of the head of the Department, B.R. Ospanova, held a literary and creative evening on October 13, 2021, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh educator, one of the founders of modern Kazakh writing

The event was organized by associate professors of the Department of Russian Language and Culture Nasyrova A.B. and Kulpeisova T.S.

The purpose of the event is to educate students with a sense of patriotism, honor, and an active life position on the example of the life and work of the great educator. Service to the cause of enlightenment of the Kazakh people, which has become the life’s work of the people.Altynsarina is a worthy example for the younger generation.

The event was attended by 1st year students of all specialties: OPI-21-1, AiU-21-1, ND-21-1, MV-21-1, GD-21-1, CAF-21-1, IS-21-1, RET-21-1,BD-21-1,TS-21-1, PSK-21-1, MASH 21-1, CAF 19-1, SIB 21-2,TT 21-1, CAF 19-2, E-21-1, ARCH 21-1, EE 21-1 and the teachers of the Department of RL&C. The leading students of the literary evening were: Amangeldy Aigerim (gr. OPI-21-1), Temirsaidov Beksultan (gr. ND-21-1).

A video dedicated to Y was presented to the attention of the participants of the meeting. Altynsarin, who introduced the audience to the most important facts of the biography of the great teacher. Along with educational activities, Y. Altynsarin developed a type of township and aul schools, including women’s schools (with boarding school) in the city of Irgiz for Kazakh girls, where they were taught needlework, Russian literacy and arithmetic. A lot of strength and energy is needed. Altynsarin spent on the creation of craft and agricultural schools.

In addition, Y. Altynsarin left a rich literary heritage, which has not a descriptive, but a clearly expressed educational character in the spirit of the ideas of enlightenment and patriotism. Altynsarin is rightfully called the founder of Kazakh children’s literature. The poem “Kel, balalar okylyk!”, which can be considered the anthem of the school, was read by a student of gr. ND-21-1 Kabayeva Alina, and the famous poem “Balgozha bidin balasyna zhazgan khaty” (Almukhanbet Botazhan, IS-21-1) was also performed.

Altynsarin’s pen belongs to a number of short stories and short stories, one of which “Spider, ant and Swallow” was read by student Hamid Shehnaz (gr. GD-21-1), and students Amanzhol Ernat (gr. AiU-21-1) and Kenesbai Zhenis (gr. IS-21-1) declared poems of their own composition.

Y.Altynsarin translated into Kazakh the works of L. Tolstoy, I. Krylov and other classics of Russian literature. The translation of the fables of Krylov “Are me TLC”, “TLC, casbaa and Ken” were performed by the students of Zhaksybay Slush (gr. TSAF-21-1), Gadiri Minagi (gr. MV-21-1).

Creating the native language of highly talented stories and poems, Altynsarin as a writer has taken in the history of Kazakh literature of place next to Abai. His works were included in the school curriculum, they are studied in literature lessons, since they have not lost their relevance to this day.

We pay tribute to Y.Altynsarin for his outstanding work as an educator, the first national teacher, the first organizer of public schools, who stood at the origins of national education in Kazakhstan.
