REGIONAL SEMINAR ON THE TOPIC “THE PROCESS OF TEACHING THE STATE LANGUAGE AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES”


On March 4, 2024, within the framework of mutual cooperation, the Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov, together with the Language Resource Center at the Department for the Development of Languages of the Karaganda region, held a regional seminar on the topic “The process of teaching the state language and digital technologies”.

The purpose of the seminar is to improve the methodology of teaching the state language and promote ways to use the possibilities of digital technologies in the learning process. The seminar was attended by university teachers, teaching methodologists of regional and urban language learning centers. It was an event dedicated to improving the professional qualifications of teachers.

During the seminar, the following issues were discussed: “Digital technology: a new impetus in teaching the state language”; “A massive open training course is a way to effectively organize the distance learning process”; “The effectiveness of using the TBL (Team Based Learning) method”; “The effectiveness of learning the Kazakh language through IT”; “Using a web textbook for teaching the Kazakh language in the framework of digital technologies” reports on the following topics were heard.

This seminar was attended by the acting head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture of the NAO “Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov”, Ph.D., Associate professor Khamzina K. M., Ph.D., Acting associate professors Nygmetova N.T., Ashirbekova A. B. and senior lecturer, m.p.n.K. K. Nurzhanova.

During the regional seminar on the topic “The process of teaching the state language and digital technologies”, cooperation was established between colleagues and rational proposals were made.

At the end of the seminar, the director of the Resource Language Center Bibigul Saduovna and the acting head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture of the NAO “Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov”, Ph.D., Associate Professor Khamzina K.M. summed up the seminar, expressed gratitude to the speakers who made a meaningful report, wished fruitful work. At the end of the seminar, all participants were awarded certificates and letters of thanks.
