The Department of Economics and Enterprise Management training in the following bachelor’s degree specialties:

In 2021, new educational programs were developed and a set was implemented:

— 6B04107 «Industrial Economics»;

— 6B04108 «Accounting and auditing in industry»;

— 6B04109 «Assessment (by industry)».

 

Bachelor course

Forms of study:

— full-time (4 years);

— full-time reduced (3 years);

— full-time on the basis of the second higher education (2 years) in the format of DET.

 

Acceptance of documents from applicants is carried out on the basis of:

— Unified national testing results (for full-time education);

—  КТ and  interviews  (for abbreviated and full-time (on the basis of higher education) in the format of DET forms of education.

 

6B04107 «Industrial Economics»

Educational program prepares specialists for the implementation of economic activities of the enterprise, whose work is aimed at improving the efficiency and profitability of production, the quality of products and the development of new types, achieving high end results with optimal use of material, labor and financial resources.

The purpose of the Educational program: to implement democratic principles of educational process management in practice, to expand academic freedom and opportunities of higher education institutions; to ensure the adaptation of the content of the educational program of higher education and scientific research to the changing needs of society and the achievements of scientific thought; to ensure recognition of the level of training of graduates in other countries; to ensure higher mobility of graduates in changing labor market conditions; training of specialists for the implementation of planning and analytical activities in various sectors of the economy.

Objectives of the Educational program:

– obtaining a full-fledged, high-quality basic education in the field of economics, management and organization of production;

– acquisition of a high general intellectual level of development, mastery of literate and developed speech, humanitarian culture, high moral, ethical and legal norms, culture of thinking and skills of scientific organization of work;

– development of creative potential, initiative and innovation;

– continuation of education by students at the next stage of multi-level education;

– competitiveness of bachelors in the labor market.

Areas of professional activity:

The sphere of professional activity of graduates are institutions and business entities of all forms of ownership, financial organizations, management bodies of state regulation of the economy, research institutions.

Objects of professional activity

The objects of professional activity of graduates are economic, financial, marketing, production, economic and analytical services of organizations and enterprises, regardless of their type of activity, form of ownership, categories of participants (residents and non-residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan), organizational and legal forms, state bodies of the republican and local levels; research institutes, educational institutions of primary vocational, secondary professional, higher professional education.

 

6B04108 «Accounting and auditing in industry»

The development of this program allows you to account for business transactions at enterprises of various organizational and legal forms and branches of the economy, acquire the skills of financial reporting and the ability to analyze it, master modern methods and means of information processing, various accounting and auditing programs, use International Standards for financial reporting reporting and International Auditing Standards in practical situations.

The purpose of the Educational program: training of highly qualified specialists capable of conducting accounting and auditing at industrial enterprises.

Objectives of the Educational program:

– to implement democratic principles of educational process management in practice, to expand academic freedom and opportunities of higher educational institutions;

– to ensure the adaptation of the content of the educational program of higher education and scientific research to the changing needs of society and the achievements of scientific thought;

– to ensure recognition of the level of training of graduates in other countries;

– to ensure higher mobility of graduates in changing labor market conditions;

– training of specialists for the organization and management of accounting and auditing at an industrial enterprise.

Areas of professional activity: are state bodies, institutions and economic entities of all forms of ownership, management bodies of state regulation of the economy, research institutions.

Objects of professional activity: are the property of enterprises, its obligations, capital and business operations that cause changes in the composition, placement of assets and sources of its formation, as well as the activities of organizations of various sectors of the economy, taking into account the specifics of the industry: state governing bodies (Ministries and departments, Tax Committee, Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics); research institutions, organizations and firms, regardless of their organizational and legal form.

 

6B04109 “Assessment (by industry)”

The educational program is aimed at training a specialist in the field of evaluation activities, whose qualification level meets the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 10.01.2018 “On Evaluation activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, national and international evaluation standards.

The purpose of the Educational program:

The purpose of the educational program is to train specialists for an independent assessment of the market and other values of movable and immovable property

Objectives of the Educational program:

– to implement democratic principles of educational process management in practice, to expand academic freedom and opportunities of higher educational institutions;

– to ensure the adaptation of the content of the educational program of higher education and scientific research to the changing needs of society and the achievements of scientific thought;

– to ensure recognition of the level of training of graduates in other countries;

– to ensure higher mobility of graduates in changing labor market conditions;

– to provide training of specialists for an independent assessment of the market and other value of movable and immovable property.

Areas of professional activity

The sphere of professional activity of graduates is economic services. The appraiser contributes to the viability of markets and property by ensuring transparency in financial processes and reporting, as well as the reliability of assessments carried out to secure loans and mortgages for transactions related to property transfers.

Objects of professional activity

The objects of professional activity of graduates are various structures of management bodies, enterprises, organizations, regardless of the field of activity. Public administration bodies, universities and research enterprises, organizations and firms of various forms of ownership are priority for bachelors of assessment.

 

6B04102 «Management»

The educational program is a comprehensive document that defines the goals, objectives and results of education, the structure and content of working curricula and programs, methods and methods of their implementation, educational, methodological and resource support of the educational process and criteria for evaluating educational achievements of students.

The purpose of the Educational program: training of specialists in the field of management for the implementation of management activities in modern economic conditions

Objectives of the Educational program:

– mastering a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge in the professional field;

– education of a competent and competitive personality with the potential for self-development, and quickly adapting to changing economic conditions;

– obtaining a full-fledged, high-quality education, professional competence in the field of economics, management and organization of production;

6B04104 «State and local administration»

The educational program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists who are able to participate in the processes of preparation, adoption, implementation, evaluation and expert support of management decisions in regional and republican public administration bodies.

The purpose of the Educational program: training of specialists of state and local government in the field of economics and social development.

Objectives of the Educational program:

– to implement democratic principles of educational process management in practice, to expand academic freedom and opportunities of higher educational institutions;

– to ensure the adaptation of the content of the educational program of higher education and scientific research to the changing needs of society and the achievements of scientific thought;

– to ensure recognition of the level of training of graduates in other countries;

– to ensure higher mobility of graduates in the changing conditions of the labor market.

Areas of professional activity:

The sphere of professional activity of graduates is the management of the national economy, administrative-territorial taxa, manager and economist in national companies, at various enterprises of the country.

Objects of professional activity

The objects of professional activity of graduates are the Apparatus and Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the apparatus of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan; various structural divisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan; economic and financial management bodies (ministries, departments and agencies); local government bodies (akimats of districts, cities, regions) and executive offices; national public and private companies, concerns, corporations and others.

 

6B04105 «Marketing»

The educational program involves the study of a system of specialized marketing disciplines with a focus on marketing analytics and digital marketing. Modern marketing is inextricably linked with data analysis, the Marketing program teaches students the basic methods of market research.

The purpose of the Educational program: to prepare specialists of the educational program of higher education and scientific research for the changing needs of society and the achievements of scientific thought, for marketing activities in various fields of economics and business

Objectives of the Educational program:

– obtaining a full-fledged, high-quality specialized and scientific-pedagogical education, professional competence in the field of economics, management and organization of production;

– acquisition of a high general intellectual level of development, mastery of literate and developed speech, culture, high moral, ethical and legal norms, culture of thinking and skills of organizing human resources;

– development of creative potential, initiative and innovation;

– competitiveness of masters in the labor market, providing the opportunity for the fastest possible employment in the specialty;

– preparation of individual education programs by undergraduates;

– providing targeted training on the orders of organizations;

– mastering fundamental courses at the intersection of sciences, guaranteeing them professional mobility at the international level;

– deepening of theoretical, practical and individual training of students in the chosen direction of science and pedagogical activity, mastering the most important and stable knowledge by undergraduates;

– development of students’ ability to self-improvement and self-development, needs and skills of independent creative possession of new knowledge throughout their active life;

– training of specialists with a high level of professional culture, including the culture of professional communication, having a civic position, able to formulate and practically solve modern scientific and practical problems, successfully carry out research, pedagogical and managerial activities.

Areas of professional activity:

Graduates of this specialty can perform various functions in the implementation of managerial, entrepreneurial, commercial and research activities of economic entities. When implementing production and sales and scientific and technical activities, bachelors study marketing opportunities and the environment of economic entities, conduct marketing research, select a target segment, predict consumer demand and position products for the selected segment, develop a policy in the field of product management, price, sales and communications aimed at meeting needs.

Objects of professional activity

markets – (commodity, stock, information; capital, labor, etc.); marketing opportunities of economic entities: marketing research, consumers, suppliers, intermediaries, contact audiences, competitors, industrial and consumer goods, services, promotion elements – (advertising, public relations, personal contacts, sales promotion); state institutions, service enterprises (hotels, catering establishments, travel agencies, tour bureaus), manufacturing and intermediary enterprises, international chambers of commerce, trading houses, transport and communications, warehousing, political entities, public organizations, individuals and societies.

 

Magistracy

In 2004, the department opened a Master’s degree in Economics. Preparation is carried out in accordance with the State Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan 6.08.080-2010.

Students who have mastered the relevant educational programs of postgraduate professional education are awarded an academic degree – “Master of Economics” (specialized Master’s degree, 1 year of study) and “Master of Economic Sciences” (scientific and pedagogical Master’s degree, 2 years of study).

The training is conducted both by state order and on a paid basis in full-time in Russian and state languages, using credit technology.

Admission to the Master’s program is carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of passing two exams (a foreign language and a special discipline).

Currently, the training of personnel in the magistracy is carried out in two directions:

— profile

— scientific and pedagogical.

The term of study for profile training is 1 year; for scientific and pedagogical training it is 2 years.

The training of undergraduates is carried out on the basis of an individual master’s work plan, which is compiled under the guidance of a scientific supervisor.

 

7М04104,  7М04107 «Industrial Economics»

The Master’s degree program contains:

– theoretical training, including the study of cycles of basic and core disciplines;

– professional practice (pedagogical, industrial, research);

– experimental research work, including the implementation of a master’s thesis,

– intermediate and final attestations.

The purpose of the Educational program: training of specialists of scientific and pedagogical profile in the field of planning and analytical activities in industrial sectors of the economy

Objectives of the Educational program:
