On January 10, 2025, the Abylkas Saginov College of Innovative Technologies of the MAP hosted a pedagogical council dedicated to topical issues of the state of educational and industrial work and the introduction of new approaches to vocational education.
The importance of the topics discussed was reinforced by the fact that 2025 has been declared the Year of Working Professions, which underlines the relevance of training highly qualified specialists in the field of vocational education.
Presentations were made by Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Moldabekova G.K., Deputy Director for educational Work Takenova A.A., Deputy Director for educational and production work Seidimbekova G.H. and methodologist Kvitko E.M. During the presentations, it was noted that the WorldSkills movement is the involvement of young people in the development of a working profession, allowing young professionals in the country to demonstrate their professional skills on the world stage
and to improve the skills of teachers.
During the meeting, there were also active discussions with teachers, who expressed their suggestions and comments on improving the educational process. Special attention was paid to the introduction of innovative teaching methods, the development of educational and industrial practices and improving the quality of interaction between students and teachers.
At the end of the event, Janel Balkhashbekkyzy, a teacher of foreign languages at our college, was awarded a letter of appreciation from the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan for her contribution to protecting the interests of workers and developing the trade union movement! As a result, specific proposals were developed to improve the educational process, which will further help the college to train specialists who meet modern requirements and the needs of the labor market.
