Doctoral student of the Department “History of Kazakhstan” Temirzhanova sh. M. as a listener took a course of lectures invited by the Eurasian national University. Ln. Gumilyov, PhD, Professor Hayati Bashirli from Gazi University (Turkey). During the month, doctoral students will improve their knowledge and skills in the course “design and analysis of sociological research”, Professor Hayati Beshirli teaches at the Department of sociology of the faculty of literature of the University of Gazi since 2013. He is also the author of more than 50 scientific articles and works. Last year his works related to the sociology of nutrition “Emek sosyolojisi” (“sociology of nutrition”) and “sosyologları Turk” (“sociology of Turkey”) were published. These works are available in the library Fund of the Department and the University.
From March 20 to March 23, 2018, teachers of the Department Sagatova Assem Serikovna and Nurligenova Zauresh Nurkenovna took part in the international Summit of Nevruz (international nauryz summit). The summit was held in Antalya (Turkey). This multinational intellectual event, consisting of 7 independent academic symposiums and original works written in all fields of social sciences, especially in the field of language, history, literature, culture, art and sociology. The symposiums, organized within the framework of the summit, are aimed at the exchange of valuable experience and knowledge, and the unification of academics, practitioners, and creative people from different countries of the Turkic World. In addition to the sessions and academic discussion meetings where presentations of qualified works were conducted, another goal of the summit is to strengthen historical and cultural ties in the warm atmosphere where Nauryz Bayram was celebrated together by the participants. INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE IN NAZARBAYEV UNIVERSITY
November 4-5, 2017 in the walls of Nazarbayev University there was an international scientific conference “ON THE PERIPHERALS OF COLLAPSING EMPIRE : NATIONAL MINORITIES AND THE 1917 REVOLUTION”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution. The conference was organized by Nazarbayev University in partnership with the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev and the Karaganda State Technically University named after E. A. Buketova.
From the department of “History of Kazakhstan” KSTU in its work took part teachers of modern history of Kazakhstan Kazbekova N.A. and Tlaygabylova K.S.
On the first day of the conference, President Nazarbayev addressed the participants of the Shigeo Katsu University with a welcoming speech.

Leading scientists, teachers, students of Nazarbayev University and undergraduates of Karaganda State University named after E.A.Beketova took special interest in its discussion part. The conference aimed to overcome the borders of national historians of post-Soviet states and address such undeservedly ignored issues as the interaction of autonomous governments of various regions of the decaying Russian Empire, consider various state projects and ideological discourses, national and religious movements and their participants in the transition period of the Revolution and the Civil War on the “national periphery”. Particular attention was paid to the issues of everyday violence and the search for answers to it, moral responsibility for the crimes committed, problems of collective memory, national myths and the legacy of events of a hundred years ago. In Soviet historiography, these questions were primarily studied from the point of view of class contradictions and the struggle against tsarist colonialism, and the rejection by the majority of autonomist movements of the Bolshevik regime during the Civil War was hushed up or condemned as a bourgeois nationalist reaction. After the collapse of the USSR in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, the class approach in the assessment of revolutionary events is replaced by an orientation toward highlighting and analyzing revolutionary events within the borders of the newly independent states of the post-Soviet space. The latest interpretative models are built around the ideologies of modern nationalisms and give rise to new mythologies. The discreteness and limitations of this approach led to the idea of the need for international cooperation and interaction of researchers.

During the period from 05.04.2014 to 18.05.2014, Nurligenova Zauresh Nurkenovna had an internship at the University of Adam Mickiewicz,in the Republic of Poland to become familiar with the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Republic of Poland, through the prism of Poznan’s city attractions.
Every area of the city and every surviving building associated with many stories and legends. Poznan today is a major commercial, industrial and educational center of Poland. The oldest and largest public university in the eastern and north-western Poland is the Adam Mickiewicz University. At the university meetings with Vice-Rector prof. dr hab. Zbigniewa Pilarczyka, who gave lectures on “the Adam Mickiewicz University: History and Modernity”; Dean of the Faculty of History prof. Kazimierza Ilskiego, who detailed and interesting presented the history and development of the city of Poznan, as well as the current state of the domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Poland were held.

During the period from 23.06.2013 to 07.07.2013, Oshanov Nurlan Zethanovichhad an internship at the Charles University in Czech Republic to become familiar with the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Czech Republic. Every area of the city and every surviving building associated with many stories and legends. Prague today is a major commercial, industrial and educational center of Czech Republic. The oldest and largest public university is Charles University. The university has organized meetings with professors, experts from different periods of Czech history, we visited the Museum of History of the Czech Republic, archaeological sites and all the attractions of the city. We also visited Austria and Germany. We got acquainted with the organization of higher education of the Czech Republic, as well as experience in teaching historical disciplines in higher education.

The purpose of the internship: Study of Czech history and art in the European context from the Middle Ages to the present days.
Objectives of the internship:
– Study of the organization of higher education of the Czech Republic, as well as experience in teaching historical disciplines in higher education
-Acquisition and development of managerial skills needed to perform the duties of occupied position or to higher positions.
– Securing the knowledge derived from theoretical training and demonstrate an ability to apply these skills and personal qualities in their professional activities.
