31 December 2016, a solemn opening of a memorial plaque and information stand to the scientist, teacher, Vice-rector of Karaganda State Technical University Viktor Vladimirovich Egorov (1945-2016) was held.
Victor Vladimirovich Yegorov died on 22 November 2016.
There has been a tradition to perpetuate the memory of its ‘sons’ at KSTU, who made a huge contribution to its development. The relatives of V.V. Egorov, the staff, administration of the university and representatives of Karaganda universities took participation in the opening of the memorial plaque. Rector of KSTU Ibatov Marat Kenesovich and Victor Vladimirovich’s close friend, PhD, professor of Karaganda Medical University Terekhin Sergey Petrovich opened the plaque.
