The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced a competition for grant funding of scientific and (or) scientific-technical projects for 2021-2023 (fundamental and applied scientific research) in priority areas of science development:
- Rational use of water resources, flora and fauna, ecology;
- Geology, mining and treating mineral and hydrocarbon raw materials, new materials, technologies, safe products and structures;
- Power and mechanical engineering;
- Information, communication and space technologies;
- Scientific research in the field of natural sciences;
- Science of life and health;
- Research in education and science;
- Research in the field of social sciences and humanities;
- Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and safety of agricultural products;
- National security and defense.

Competitive applications are submitted to the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in electronic form. They must be certified with the electronic digital signature of the research manager of the project and the applicant, through the information system of NCGNTE JSC by the link: https://is.ncste.kz. Application submitting starts on August 14, 2020.
