A meeting with a veteran of the Afghan war, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, was held at the College of Innovative Technologies in the KORMPI-11/24-2 group.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide students with complete information about the Afghan war, to have an open conversation with fellow veterans, to conduct conversations and patriotic education of students.
An honorary guest of our college, a veteran of the Afghan war Muzdybaev Ayan Abdygalimovich, was invited to the meeting.
The veteran noted that today the urgent issue is to convey to the younger generation the names of veterans of the Afghan war who faithfully performed their duty, and to provide a fair place in history. It is the duty of every Kazakh citizen to preserve the courage of the brothers who fought for peace, to set an example for them. “The younger generation should follow this example,” he said. A veteran of the Afghan war, talking about the trials and experiences of that brutal war, called on students to learn and honor the peace day.
The students asked the veteran questions and received answers.
At the end of the meeting, the students expressed their wishes.
