November 15, 2019 at the Department of CTS was held a master class lecture by associate Professor, PhD Serikov T.G. on the subject of “Digital switching systems.” The topic of the lesson is “Switching systems”. The lecture was held for the groups RET-16-1 and RET-16-2. The master class was held in the form of discussion and debate, the results of which were determined by the winners and prize 2nd place. At the beginning of the lesson, each team presented a brief introductory video, as well as the teams described how 1 day of the student passes in the ATS. The competition was held between the two groups. The competition consisted of 3 stages: a quiz on telecommunications, a debate on the topic of ATS and presentation of the results of homework. The jury included head of the CTS Department Yugay V. V., Deputy Dean on educational work of FEAT Abilzhanova F. B., Dean of FEAT of Bulatbayev F.N. and leading engineer of ERS Kazakhtelecom JSC Moldabekova G. On the results of the contest, 1st place was taken by the group RET-16-1, 2-nd place was taken by the group RET-16-2. As a reward, the teams were awarded diplomas, cups and cash prizes.
