Kazakhstan-U.S. University Consortium Partnership Program

Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University has been selected as one of the founding members of the Kazakhstan-U.S. University Consortium (KUUC) Partnership Program.

The program aims to strengthen existing ties and foster new strategic partnerships between U.S. and the Republic Kazakhstan institutions by developing an innovative consortium and community of practice.

The consortium includes various higher education institutions in the United States and the Republic Kazakhstan, which participate in a year-long virtual training program to create sustainable partnerships in areas of study critical to the U.S. and the Republic Kazakhstan economies and the higher education sector, including renewable energy, environmental science, agriculture, food security and STEM.

Consortium members will also have access to strategic planning support, tailored mentorship, virtual and in-person meetings, and an opportunity to pursue seed grant funding.

This initiative is designed to foster a higher education ecosystem that promotes bi-national collaboration between universities and colleges in the Republic Kazakhstan and the United States.
